Network with
Those Singles You Do Meet
Chances are, every single person you meet, knows
a number of quality singles just waiting to meet someone too! Just as
networking is one of the best ways of getting a job; it is also one of the
best ways to meet people. Getting to know people at the different events is
a great place to start. Although it may be difficult at first, networking is
a skill, and does get easier the more you do it. It may help to remember
that everyone you meet at singles events are probably in the same situation
as you are. This is
what Christian Singles Network is designed for!
Spend Some
Time on Self-Evaluation and Self-Improvement
A good place to start
is to make a list of the 5 MUSTS you want in a relationship, and the 5 'NOTS'.
Then, look within and identify your 5 MAJOR STRENGTHS and 5 WEAKNESSES.
Be willing to work on those items that need improvement. (A close friend
can be a great help in identifying these weak areas and devising a plan
to work on them.)
Volunteer to
Help at Various CSN Events
This is an excellent way to meet people,
especially if you are somewhat shy! Having a purpose or a job at an
event also makes you more approachable. It’s not only a great way to
meet a lot of people, but it is also a sign of integrity that you are
willing to serve. God promises to help those who help others, so it is
something definitely worth praying about. (Galatians 6:7)

Growing in Your Relationship with God
Oil and water don’t mix. If you want to
attract a quality, spiritually minded, Godly person, you need to be one,
yourself. Attending church and the CSN Bible studies are a great place to
start.

Improve Your
Relationship Skills
Communicating, dating and relationships are
part practice, part skill and part finesse, mixed with a lot of bravery
and tenacity! Men and women do think differently, and react differently
to different situations. (Remember: Mars and Venus are still very
different planets!) Quality workshops and seminars are great places to
pick-up different ideas and improve your communication skills. CSN offers some useful and interesting
seminars and workshops on a variety of informative
subjects. Any golfer (or musician, for that matter) can tell you -- if
you don’t work on your skills, seek qualified instruction, and practice
consistently what you’ve learned; you will never succeed!

Look "Outside the Box"
Everyone has their own preconceived ‘wish
list’, and ideas of what their spouse is going to be like. Some people
are so busy searching for Prince Charming and Miss Perfect that they let
many wonderful people slip through their fingers. Set your goal on
meeting and marrying your best friend – and you will find happiness and
companionship!
